“Le Case del Principe Alliata” is a country estate deep in the lush greenery of the Taormina countryside, like a hidden gem. It is surrounded by a beautiful Mediterranean garden overlooking a large lemon grove and the olive trees of the surrounding hills. The view of the Etna volcano completes the picture, making the country house the place of your dreams! A real oasis of peace and relax, plunged in the greenery and flowers, ideal to escape from the stress of work or city life. In spring, in particular, the orange and lemon trees blossom, release a unique and irresistible scent in the air. The two swimming pools, which are part of the property, are for exclusive use of the guests, who can swim and sunbathe on the sunbeds located in the solarium or on the lawn next to the vineyard.
The country house consists of an elegant main villa and 4 exclusive dependances, which are close to the villa but independent one from the other. The main villa has its own swimming pool and a beautiful garden, for exclusive use of the guests, where there is a large gazebo to have meals or simply stay alfresco while admiring the volcano. The 4 dependances share a second large swimming pool, which is surrounded by an amazing exclusive garden dominated by flowers of all kinds and palm trees. Guests have the choice to rent part of the country house (the main villa or one or more of the dependances) or the entire country house. Privacy between the houses is guaranteed in any case. When the entire property is rented, as in the case of larger groups, the sliding gates, which are normally kept closed to separate the main villa from the other smaller annexes, are left open for the guests to roam freely within the property, taking advantage of both the swimming pools and the surrounding gardens.
The property is particularly suitable for lovers of the countryside. However, it is also very close to the sea (2 km), to the centre of Taormina (7 km) and to the small village of Trappitello (1km) for daily shopping, where you can find grocery stores, a fishmonger and a pharmacy. The nearest airport is the airport of Catania (distant about 60 km by motorway). The location is strategic to visit Eastern Sicily and is also ideal for families and group holidays, to celebrate weddings or special occasions together.
